About Us

Judy Corcoran started her media career in radio and television before moving to print some 30 years ago. She has worked on staff and freelance at some of the country’s largest and most successful magazines including Better Homes and Gardens, Vogue, Town & Country, American Way, Real Simple, Popular Mechanics, Golf Digest, Inc., Shape and U.S. News & World Report.

Starting in research, Judy developed her marketing skills and worked for many years writing presentations before switching to advertising sales. During a mid-life crisis, she left the security of a staff position for the variety and uncertainty of a freelance career. She became the media reporter for Brand Marketing and contributed to Supermarket News while she wrote two books as a co-author: Joint Custody With a Jerk: Raising a Child With an Uncooperative Ex (St. Martins, 1996 and 2011) and Volleyball: Playing With Your Head at Any Height (Wish Publishing, 2006). She has recently edited two books for self publishers, Prison and Miss University: A 101 Tips on How To Keep Your Tiara On While In College. And in 2010, she published a book about her father, Fred Corcoran: The Man Who Sold the World on Golf. You can see more about this book at

Judy now works both on- and off-site as a copywriter, copyeditor, project manager, proofreader, trainer, webmaster and sales person at magazines, media companies, agencies and other businesses.
